Trevor Noah LEAVING ‘The Daily Show’ KNOW WHY

Trevor Noah announced his resignation as host of "The Daily Show" on Thursday.

Trevor stated in a video message shared on Twitter that after seven years of hosting the humorous television news program, his "time is up."

“I’ve loved hosting the show. It’s been one of my greatest challenges. It’s been one of my greatest joys. I’ve loved trying to figure out how to make people laugh,” he said of his time on the show

Noah hinted that he is quitting the program to pursue other opportunities in his life.

“I spent two years in my apartment, not on the road, and when I got back out there I realized there’s another part of my life out there that I want to carry on exploring. I miss learning other languages. I miss going to other countries and putting on shows,” Noah said.

Despite his departure, the comedian expressed his thanks to everyone he met while on the program.

“I couldn’t have done it without you and I wouldn’t have wanted to do it without you,” he stated

Noah did not specify when he intended to depart. He stated that they would still hash out the “timings and the when’s,” but will “still be here for the time being.”
