Samsung, the tech giant, is reportedly set to reveal a brand-new tri-foldable smartphone alongside its upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 devices. According to reliable tipster Yogesh Brar, the company won’t be releasing the Galaxy S23 FE this year.

However, Samsung’s foldable device with two hinges could transform from a compact smartphone to a large-screen tablet with its foldable OLED screen.

Unveiling The Mystery Device

While Samsung has remained tight-lipped about the tri-folding Galaxy device, it is expected to be a significant improvement over the current Galaxy Z Fold 3. The foldable OLED screen’s two hinges will make it possible for the phone to fold in three ways, allowing users to enjoy a large-screen tablet experience. The device could provide a screen as large as 8 inches when unfolded.

A New Display Type: FLEX HYBRID

Samsung’s Flex Hybrid technology could also play a vital role in the new tri-folding device. In January of this year, the company filed for a trademark for the Flex Hybrid term, which allows the screen to fold and slide simultaneously. This suggests that the screen’s technology could be similar to what is used in the Galaxy Z Fold 3.

Samsung To Drop The Fan Edition?

Samsung has reportedly dropped plans to release the Fan Edition for the S-series this year, meaning there won’t be a “Galaxy S23 FE.” The company also didn’t release the Galaxy S22 FE last year, indicating that it’s finished with the Fan Edition offerings.

What To Expect

Samsung’s upcoming tri-foldable smartphone is sure to generate buzz in the tech world, with fans eagerly awaiting more details. The company has yet to announce a release date or pricing information for the new device. But, if rumors are to be believed, the device is set to be a game-changer in the smartphone industry, bringing new levels of versatility and user experience. Keep an eye on Samsung’s official announcements for more information on this exciting new device.
